I just shipped a fully dressed 416SB from Fl to Ok and the man that purchased it had it shipped through engineshippers.com and he told me it cost him 300.00.

Try engineshippers.com. I have used them twice. I sent a 440 shortblock from pa to ca for around $200. Both times were to members here on moparts, and everything went fine except one delivery. Where I was told to send it to denied the shipment because he forgot to tell them it was coming.

Folks, this is what I do for a living. If you need anything shipped just give me a call after checking out my website. Be prepared to pack and prepare your engine, parts, or other items to at least your own satisfaction to avoid damage. A 400lb engine can go almost anywhere in the country for a couple hundred bucks.....but you need to put the time into packing it properly. Also, be prepared for the need to properly insure it if it is a high value piece.

Mopar guys get a bigger discount. We intentionally lose Chevy parts whenever we get a chance. LOL

Do the plastic shipping crates need to go onto a pallet, or can they go as is? I have two to ship.
Thanks

Just make sure you have the CASH in hand before you send it unless you know your buyer. There is a lot of money tied up in shipping if the deal falls through because of a bad check, or credit card scams. Then it costs you to get it sent back too. Happened to a buddy of mine.
