So I need to get an engine plate to install the RB in my 68 dart.Who has the best one and why? How do i figure out how to space out my accessories since it looks like I will be spacing out my water pump with the engine plate?

Mancini Racing or Hughes Engines have pre-made motor plates to put a big block into an A body car. They also have pulley spacers and mounting kits.

yep, that's a ANDYF plate, best looking one on the market. Just bolt it on set it down on the frame rails . Fab up a couple of plate mounts [ I used 2 x 2 angle ] welded to the frame an your all set to go.

it's ok to butt heads, just don't do it with a butthead

I bought one from an Indy dealer, but I do not know if it is actually an Indy part. I test fitting it in my '71 Challenger and it fit amazingly, so I am led to believe it is not an Indy made item. The dealer did have RB A-body ones as well.

It just sits on the frame rails and you make some tabs. I should also note, that it is the same thickness as the Milodon gear drive spacers.
