I owned 2 Superbees back in the day!!! Kick my self in the Arsh everytime I think about it... Any how I have always wanted a 1969 GTX, so I found one, I bought it, and here we go... WEEEEEE WEEEEE WEEEEE.... LOL.... Can I get some help on the Fender tag, just not sure how to read all the codes... Also the car is a b5 blue car, but I am thinking of Sub Lime Green, Black Vinyl top, Already got the 6 pack Hood... Any input is well appreciated!!! It is not number matching, but we have a 70 440HP2 , 3.91 sure grip, and 727 red clutchs, etc... with a 3500 stahl convertor... 2X4 endura shine edlebrock, and 2 endura shine edelbrock 600s...

Hey it's the GG of Mass... LOL
6W is the stripe on a GTX that is just below the belt moulding in the blackout area. They were either Red or white for 1969.
V7 IIRC is the upper fender stripe like on RR's.

Well its been painted 2 times, first light green, then Hemi Orange... It had an early 69 440, block was stamped 68 late... Not an hp motor, and vin does not match... Trans matches but the rear drop out was switched out... The car is solid, we bought a 3.91 sure grip, rebuilt... We also picked up a new six pack hood, and a late 69 stamped block, 5-69 that was stamped with an f, so 70 i guess. 440 hp2 motor, it has the six pack rods steel crank etc... The car has Black door panels, and black seats, I think the seats are Charger seats!!! Other than that its pretty clean, we will need to do 1/4 skins, because the dummy before us chopped them, but the floors, fenders, doors, etc... are all good!!! We were thinking Sublime with Black bottom, Black vinyl top, and black six pack hood!!! Black interior... What do you all think, makes a real attention grabbing muscle car... Since its not #s matching!!! ??? Any other ideas????

Your pictures are probably too big, or there is something funky with its .ending ? Personally I am not a fan of painting a car a color that was not available on that model in that year , but it's your car do what you want. just be prepared to take a beating when the time comes to sell. It's one thing to paint a blue car a different color blue , but to paint it like that ... Thanks Rob , I though ti was that lower stripe , but the listing in my WHITE BOOK confused me ... foiled again ...

I tried to download from my pics, and the attachment is not working??? any help??? Thanks again...
Hi, I also had problems posting pics at first. There are 2 things to check; 1) Photos need to be in the jpeg format (file name will end in .jpg) 2) Maximum photo size is 1 megabyte (1mb/1024kb). Hope this helps. Looking forward to seeing the pics.

Had to have been georgeous.
That's one of the best looking combos for a car IMO, period.
It's your car, paint it whatever color you like, but, my personal opinion, it's a BIG mistake.
No sweat John. I think the SB exhaust manifold section has some interesting info in them white books. When you get that $50, send me a little scratch for the help!
