depends on who's repo your refering to. The ones I carry are the closest to OE I've found to date. OE's the lead end is dished like a spoon, not flat like some repops have. OE's the color is ever so slightly darker in color compared to the repops, most will never catch this unless compared side by side. And on the OE's I've seen there is a light ridge running the length of the red cable itself, repops do not have the ridge. There is another repop that looks the same as mine but the internal cable gauge size is smaller with a thicker outer casing. If you want closeup pics feel free to ask. 1969 + 70 B-body shown

Bill, so i see you sell two diffetent cables on your site, concourse as well as a cable that will work but is different in shape and appearance. So for a driver car you would reccomend the cheaper version?? you have both the NEG & POS
Yes, for a driver I sell the BC70 cables.I actually modify the currently avail E-body cable to re-locate/extend the leads for the firewall mounted starter relay
@ $140 for just the positive a lot of people can't justify it , they buy the cheaper reproduction thats avail, and due to the smaller gauge cable it likes to overheat the cable itself if you have to crank on it much.

I bought an NOS service replacement positive battery cable. When I received it, the cable did not look new, so like many of my NOS parts, I reworked it using a conditioning substance to remove any discoloration and “old” looking characteristics. I then re-wrapped it and applied new decals. You can still see the remnants of the original stickers that I removed in the (before) picture below. Please stop worrying about my positive cable tony and concentrate on your own cars. Remember that your accomplishments will never appear better by simply criticizing the work of someone else. The show concluded a month ago. Has my positive battery cable really bothered you that much over the past 4 weeks?!
NOTE: For those who are in the dark concerning this topic, this poster walked up to the OE judges at the show and tried to convince them that my battery cables were reproductions. I was kind enough to let someone come in to inspect the car and they stab me in the back by trying to convince the judges of a blatant lie. Anyone can easily see the color differences in the two red cables. Also notice that the starter terminals are separate and not connected like the reproduction cables. Maybe I should take it as a compliment that I was able to make 40 year old cables almost look like new.
