Thanks. It doesn't have an air pan. I plan on going to another scoop and fiberglass hood later as this one is steel. The ET on that day we had some really good air and it ran 10.09 10.08 and 10.10 but back to the topic this is a 5 inch scoop also.

Around 72 the snorkel Pro Stock scoop became very popular as it seemed most cars were using the snorkel in the 72 to 75 era. Ron

Now thats bad booty!!!I had that scoop since 1977 just hung'n arould and I seen this thread and I bought a US Source hood for $325 and I used that short hair fiberglass and put it on.

Just a warning: those Bauman-type scoops are for high MPH cars only. The faster the car, the smaller the opening...

A few look like the scoop on my 65.Its been on since 71 so I know its old.I think I paid like 40 bucks for it at my buddys speed shop.Rocky
