ABS is great stuff. Cut and form with hand tools, glue with plumbers glue, and reasonable. I got a 4 X 8 sheet of 1/4" black for about $40.00.

Pontiac? It's a 70 super bee scoop mated to a charger hood. Or a modified superbee hood to fit a charger...

That doesn't change things. The split grille on the '70 Coronet ALSO looked like a Pontiac.

NOBODY has ever noticed that NO other Mopar had such a widely divided grille? Look at a 67-69 Firebird or any other Pontiac from the 60s and look again at the 70 Coronet. Most Mopars didn't use the divided grille the way Pontiac did.

This is mine. I think it's from a Duster. It was on the car when I got it. I don't completely hate it, so I left it on. The jury is still out on it though...

the frozen wastes...

I was gonna put some kind ov available bolt-on dam on my Challenger, but i've seen so many and handled many more (working with hot rod parts) that i just cant see them holding up at any serious speeds. The plastic in itself is likely strong enough, but that particular area sees a LOT ov stress.

At what speed do the plastic/FG ones become dangerous...??? 120mph? 140mph? 150...???

So far I'm thinking ov a factory looking (not T/A style) piece, a little larger in area, made from aluminum.

putting on a front spoiler can cause a problem with people have to haul there cars in a trailer and having a clearence issue with the ramps.i had designed a pivoting 1 with teathers on the front so it could be lifted out of the way when un/loading.the product will be from .060 aluminum and clear the 6" staging beams so it will depend on the car ride height.anyone else try this?

Got the one for our Dart from some online Chevy place. It's for a '67-68(?) Camaro. Cost a whopping $25.

It's very sturdy. We whacked it into a concrete parking lot barrier and it held up.

The greatness of ABS plastic. A fiberglass one would have cracked and crumbled.

Is that fiberglass or plastic. Wonder if that's one of the ones made by the guy in So Cal or the guy on Moparts in Bay Area? in ABS?

get a superbird/daytona spoiler. they're built to deflect air into the rad, and certainly do hold up at speed.....

I REALLY like that car!
The Aspen/Volare cars had potential to be great cars after you replace the troublesome Lean Burn junk. Thanks for posting!

I made a scoop that directs a lot of air to the bottom 3rd of the radiator, works real nice, kind of hard to see but it goes to about 8" on each side of the front plate.

not looking for extra cooling...more of "cleaning the air up" for better et's. The car runs very cool as it is.

it did settle the front end down slightly between 90 and 110 mph, The new thinking is the belly pans that the new cars have.
