you guys running. saw a picture of a 70 Charger with one and it looks pretty good. I also here it's good for a few mph in the 1/4. So lets see them and what is it off of? I was told the 69 Camaro SS unit works pretty well.

Funny you should ask, I spent a good part of today fabbing one for my 62 dart. I started with a black 1/4"x8"x68" piece of ABS. The center is now necked down to approx 6", it will be at approx 25Deg angle, and curve a couple of inches at ea end. I'll take a pic tommorrow of the unfinished install. Theq 62 has 2 rather nicely place removeable plates somewhat behind the bumper, but the air dam will I believe redirect a decent amount of air by these, and I will be installing brake ducts, because I want to, I plan on driving it hard, and if air dam works well, it restricts the normal air to to the wheels. On mine, I also almost blocked off intentionally the entire grill with very fine SS screen, and I need the dam to redirect air into the radiator. Anyway, anything in this application can hardly hurt regarding High speed front end lift/lightness, drag is another matter, but I feel warm and fuzzy all the sudden

I bought a Duster spoiler from Mopar Performance back in the day. I installed it on my '70 Bee. There was a area where the rock shield had a flat area. I had to put a small notch in it to clear a support.

About that time they determined that one of those spoilers would slow a Duster down in the 1/4!

Looks like something out of a Mad Max movie.

I bought one of those spoilers for my Demon from Direct Coneection back in 1978, still have it. I was going to put it on the car, but you said it will slow it down? I was hoping to direct air up to the radiator. Always something....

I read that in Hotrod, Car Craft or Popular Hot Rodding back in the day.

One or two tenths????

Guess I could test it.. Maybe the air is different here than in California where they tested it.

MAS Fiberglass made a universal, bolt on front spoler that was very similar in appearance to the 67-69 Camaro and 69-70 Mustang offerings. While MAS is out of business, it would not be a stretch to adapt either of those with a few mods.

As far as e.t. reductions, I have no first hand experience with a chin spoiler. Since it is pushing air around the car instead of allowing it under it, it may have some impact. A deck lid spoiler, on the other hand, will have a definete impact. My 80 Volare drag car added .2 e.t. after adding the tall, factory style deck lid spoiler. Conversely, adding a sealed hood scoop took .2 off my time.

I have also heard the 69 Camaro chin spoilers work on our cars, you just need to give it some TLC when installing. I have it bookmarked on my ebay page for almost 2 years now but I havent bought one yet. I wanted it more for pushing air up towards the radiator, maybe cool my engine bay down a bit as I am driving plus I think they look killer on the front...Wonder why it was never a factory option

ABS is great stuff. Cut and form with hand tools, glue with plumbers glue, and reasonable. I got a 4 X 8 sheet of 1/4" black for about $40.00.

The hood on that yellow '70 Charger looks very Pontiac, but I like it!

That sort of looks like the one sold out of So Cal about 10-15 years ago. He made Ebody Cuda and Challenger ones and one for 70 Chargers.

??

I put one on my Duster too. Metal piece but seems solid.

Pontiac? It's a 70 super bee scoop mated to a charger hood. Or a modified superbee hood to fit a charger...
