They are W2's... Home Ported, with a set of Gold Crane rockers. He races all the Chrysler series over here on the east Coast... He hardly misses a race.... He dyno'd the engine when it was first assemble. It did make 630hp, and the dyno has been known to be accurate.
[color:"red"]65 Hemi Belvedere coming soon [color:"#00FF00"]557" Indy engine 1.07 60ft 144mph in the 8th 2100 lbs package

Vic, I gotta tell you, my Junk 65 Barracuda, is Junkier than yours!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's not as rough as it was when I got it; it doesn't have a Fred Flintstone floor pan any more, nor do the quarters have holes you can put your head thru. It's flat black, pained with a brush, I embrace it's crudeness!! It's over looked till it goes down the track and then people sit up and take notice.
A stock stroke 360, internal balance, KB 107's, Sir rods, Hughes ported E-brock heads, M1 single plane, Holley DP750, MP 557 cam, Hughes 1.6 rockers, 5000 stall PTC converter, John Cope race built 904, Cal-Tracks w/mono leaf springs, 8 3/4, choice of 4.88/4.56 gears, Hoosier 28x9 slicks, 3030 lbs with me in it.
Best 1/4 mile time is 11.10@ 120 mph, best 1/8 mile time is 6.94, best 60ft is 1.455.
10 years building and less than ten grand invested.

Jim anytime you say that it not true. You have one of the most look at cars down there. Anyone can own a Dart but how many 65 Cudas do we see? That car just runs great.
If the MODS did their job I would not be hitting the notify MOD button. LOL

With all the fastes this or that post and who has the fastes this or that. I want to see stock blocks / stock stroke crankshaft / no power adders at all. This means carburator only.
My 69 Dart with a 340 ran 7.24 @ 94 mph with a 1.54 60'. It weighed 3240# with me in it.
.030 over, Ross flat tops, ported Edlebrocks, 11.2-1 compression, Weiand X-Cellerator, Hughes hydraulic cam and Hughes rockers, 727, 8 3/4 with 4.30s. Full interior, heater, wipers and radio that doesn't work. It ran on pump 93 and could be driven anywhere and not run hot.
The 408 picked up a bit .
