Friend has a '73 Barracuda hull w/ manual steering he's willing to let me swap my PS box out with. Will it work? IIRC, '73-up B-bodies are different. Did this carry over to the E-bodies as well?

Looks like '73-4 E-bodies are the same as '73-up B-bodies. Found my answer here.

I think the only difference is the pitman arm. If you use the later pitman arm I think it works.

The splined shafts are different sizes between a manual and a power steering box... make sure to get the steering coupler off of the barracuda too.

I did remember that part (it's a wonder ). The car's a roller he's wanting to sell so I told him I would put it back together w/ my PS box.

He'll need the adapter/extension, like Mancini sells, when using a power steering shaft with a manual box because the steering shaft length is different.

The Cuda shaft will be too long to use with the power steering box!
