My old chassis manual says to stay with 318 bars for 9 0r 10 second cars. Is there a benefit to the .810 bars over the .850's I have in there now?

With my small block they were fine but the added weight of my bb was a bit too much for em.

I don't street drive mine. When did you change them, in other words did you change them at the same time as a bunch of other stuff? Was there any difference in weight transfer?

I changed em after I had to keep cranking em up and also the ft. end would fall too fast when I left the line so I now run .830 junkyard bars and all`s well.
