My car has run 9.55 at 143 na. This is with a 1.43 60 ft so there's some left on the table. I run at 3250lbs on caltracs and 295 drag radials through mufflers just like I drive it on the street, no changes to car to go drag racing. i have seen many big tire cars bolt on a set of drag radials and make there best pass ever. some couldnt run out the 1/4 though.

just because you prefer (as do I) the look of a small tire car doesnt really give you right to insult guys that bought maybe all they could afford or just like the pro street look

It all depends on what size motor,weight of car, small tire big tire makes a car impressive to me. A gutted big block 9 second car on 14x32s does not cut it for me. I ussally pass trailer cars on the way home that are slower than mine while i got the radio on.Hers a little vid of some 8.5 racing no bars and all cars way more than 3150.
If this is so easy why dont some of you guys get in the mix. And mll but one of this cars are small blocks.Not to knock any ones car here but there are only a fhandfull on here that are impressive to me.

I'd start working on your 60ft's....I left harder in a 10.60 Duster with a .509 cammed stock block that could run on kerosene

As far as the argument about only running DRAG RADIALS. You guys wouldn't be able hook these cars without the chassis improvements made over the years and the way these STREET TIRES have improved over the years. Make a pass with a slick and then the equivalent sized drag radial and the car goes faster with the street tires. Don't believe it do some research. Now as far as tuning a nitrous powered car. Buy a book, get on the computer, call a nitrous rep, ( monty or many others ), change a pill, retard the timing, programmable timings, and push a button. Heck now you can just hook it up to the gas peddle.
