Just "Raw" alum in the reaction shaft sealing ring area ? ... what do they recommend for sealing rings then ....so the rings don't tear-up the drum ??

Hi, I have this drum in my car and I'm happy with it, I chose it cause I freshen several friends trans with the alum drum and I don't care for the wear on the drum from the band , also the alum crap all over the inside of the trans also. I think its' a happy medium between alum and billet steel. Russ

PC ... that link is not werkin' furr me ... brass ? ...why not steel? .... all considered at this point .. my choice is leaning towards a steel drum.
BUT NOT the one that has a lot of clutch discs.
Doc,it seems that to use the extra disc, the thinner ones need to be used.My trans guy Tom preferred the thicker clutch disc so it's still,,,,,,,5 I think
I can ask Tom or B1 Johnny will say
HEMI-ITIS has no cure. My condition is fully BLOWN!!

i tried 6 disc's in my billet steel drum from TCS. i had a lot of overheating probs with the trans. we pulled it down & rebuilt with five fat disc's. seems to run cooler this rebuild.
