My cousin has a 67 Coronet with a stout 440 and the car has been lightened to 3200 lbs with the driver in it. He was running super stock springs and a decent set of shocks front and rear. he bought the entire set up form Caltracs. Their springs and front rear shocks. His time improved ZERO. They did not improve anything for him and he has ran them for several months and adjusted every thing possible. gone back to base setting 3 times and tried to adjust it to improve per Caltracs instructions and he has not improved even 1/2 of a tenth. So I would say the Caltracs do not work better every time. He runs 1.43 60 ft times with SS springs and he runs 1.43 with the Caltracs.
