Numbers above look good to me! These 2 are 4spds, yellow is bench/armrest, blue is bucket/console. Have a black column/auto bench/armrest coupe also...........all 'cuda package cars(except A13, 440's) came standard with the lowest interior option which is L2_ (_ meaning a letter for color). The L2 interior is front split bench seat WITHOUT the center armrest. This interior is pretty rare, i have only seen around 4 or 5 'cuda package cars with the L2 interior, including my 383(A57) 4spd coupe.
I'm the CARETAKER of Weinstats '69 440 'cuda registry and have 104 of the 360 cars to date. 84 fastbacks/20 coupes. Always looking for new(REAL M-code) '69 440 'cudas to add to the registry so drop me a note if any are found or known. This isn't a publicly released registry. Thanks, Dave

There was one that used to show up at Carlisle. I haven't seen it in the last few years. I do know it was the low end L2R(red) bench seat WITHOUT armrest. I'm sure i have pics somewhere???

There was one in Fort Langley, BC around 1990. Off 210 if I remember correctly. Went to look at a 69 White 340-S 4spd notch, and he had it in his garage. A56 Red with black buckets. Of course, after seeing that one, the white notch with blue interior just lost its appeal.

Grant, white/blue interior '69 340-S 4spd NOTCH, WOW i'd be wanting to buy that one!!!!
What was the A56, fastback or notch? Auto or 4spd?

Yeah, it was nice Dave. He was the original owner as well. He had traded in a 67 Barracuda he had bought new for it. He custom ordered the 69. Asking was 4,000. Was a no console car, pretty much a stripper. Ran like a champ. I had cash burning a hole in my pocket, and he prompted me to let it loose on Hwy1. I asked him if I could put it through the gears, and I did. He laughed and said he had never drove it like that. It was just that it looked so plain. Then he opened the garage to show me the A56. It was a fastback, auto, striped and scooped as it should be. I really bugged him over that one. Offered him $6k cash, but he did not want to let it go. After a couple of visits to look over the white one, I eventually passed. In hindsight, it worked out well, because not two weeks later I saw an ad in the local Buy'n'Sell for a 69 Cuda 440. And YOU know how that ended... 292092 Grant
