Install 18 spline gear set, Liberty is now using some of the Korean gear parts, chatted with one of their tech guys, he seems to think they are OK if they are cryo'd and shot peened or some other fancy process to improve them. Tim

As always weight matters. You might consider a slipper clutch from someone like Tim Hyatt 440 254 1311. Especially if you are running slicks and hook. Will also help the rear end live. On the street the tires just slip so you tighten up the clutch.

So far our 23 spline is living in our 70 RR with more torque. Fingers crossed.

18 spline will of course help.
