I want to remove some nice original weatherstriping and use it on another car. Is there a way to do this without damaging the item I am removing or damage the paint on the car it is coming off of? I was thinking there might be some sort of release agent that I can spray on that would accomplish this. Thanks

Goo Gone is one of those decal remove gels. This comes in a pump type spray bottle. It worked really well getting the sticker/decals off my wifes truck. You might give it a try. You can get it at Wal-mart or hareware stores.
