Very nice GTX. All numbers matching including engine? Noticed the blue valve covers on earlier post so was wondering if the car had the original engine block?

Keep the pictures coming!

Unfortunately original engine was shot already 1971. Blue one is 383. I have got 1969 440 warranty block and I'm gonna use it.

Right door after sodablasting, wash and sanding. Clean and nice. Zero rust and only few minor dings.

My bodyshop needs this. That's why I did this in the middle of front end rebuilding.

hey, Arctic... I've done similar work, in fact I blasted the entire front suspension on my Fury, including KFrame.

I was just curious - what is your post-blasting cleanup technique? I always have a ton of sand dust on the parts, and I've never felt like I've been able to get all that dust off before primer. I'd love to hear what you do.

Looking for 1975 through 1978 B body 4 door sedan sheet metal or parts cars - monaco, fury, coronet. Please let me know

Hi. I'm using both sodablasting and sandblasting. Sodablasting for sheetmetal, sand blasting for "heavier" parts like K-frame. Check out for example my bolts and nuts; They are sandblasted (veryveryvery light sand) and after that wirebrushed using brass wire. After that lots of air and for some parts solvent.

Citric acid. Great stuff for rust removing. Calipers are like new both inside and outside.

K-frame. Sandblasted, re-welded, sandblasted and finished. Tomorrow some semi gloss black paint and it's ready for assembly.

Great work man. I've always heard that soda leaves a residue behind. I guess you just have to triple clean?

Correct, You have to neutralize parts after citric acid treatment.
