Anyone here a headliner xpert? I am putting mine in myself, and Is it ever a challenge! I have done some sixties model cars, but never any cars as old as the Allstate. (52) The material is much heavier, and there are no holes to locate the bows! Oh well, I guess I will eventually get it ironed out! Mark

if there were no holes for the bows, how did you detirmine the bow location ? your progress is AMAZING of late !
Eric, I took some pictures at Street Rod Nats of a Henry J that had a nice headliner. I used those pictures as a reference for the seam at the B pillar. Although I missed my target by a little, it did work out. After locating that bow, I glued the front, and worked rearward. I did a search today and found out some of the old cars had wires to secure the bows! Of course this is after the fact as I think I am past that now! Since my car was an Old Gasser, and the headliner was replaced way back when,I don't know what should be there. The rear bows moved a lot until I glued the rear window edge and the listing (sleeves) held them in place. Thanks Eric, Mark

Another little step today. The rear quarter glass is in. I went with real glass this time, and OEM type seals. I hope that I didn't add too much weight!?!? Mark
