AND again i understand you let the racers agree

Do you ?
I can't see a fairer way to settle it than letting the remaining competitors have a say in how it is split up.
I got no horse in this , but I also have years of experience working at a local track.
It sure beats being told " This is how it is."

My car has been 140 through the 1/8 i call dibs on first prize at the next event lol. I was coming to the Robbins race in kentuckey and scraped the bottom end of the engine testing for it but was there. I'm not very social so i didn't really introduce myself to anyone. And had to work on some customers cars at the civil wars race in rockingham this past weekend or i would have been there. I personally just don't agree with decisions made. Oh well i am just stating what i would have said and for

what happens at future events.

One day I will have something cool here.

What I saw for the short time I was out there was an impressive show. Josh was everywhere trying to apease all parties. I would have said hello but, you were always running. It was nice to meet you Gup and my money would've been on your bracket car for this race anyway FWIW. As was stated Clinton had a good contender. And it was nice to meet you too Clinton. Although good points were made, I guess you just can't make some people happy no matter what you do. Maybe the remaining racers conceeded when they realised the bird was too chicken to challenge Gup? LOL

If the remaining racers agreed on the out come whats the problem? If you n20 monster or heads up were in it then the out come would have been different because you would have not agreeded to do it that way.

I have no dog in this hunt....but IMO if rain or other occurrence halts racing after the first round of eliminations for a class, payout should be divided among the remaining racers and no entry fee credit should be issued.

There are no crystal balls in competition and the #1 qualifier often loses

rick, normaly thats the way its done,
my crystal ball tells me they should have cut off all those time runs and started racing at high noon!! , jmo
instead they was late night still trying to race away from rain on sat night,
sunday was a wash , but sat should have gotten in !!
when you have that many cars over 400 , given 1-2 time runs, have a start time to race,
but what do i know , i have never ran a mmw before,

It appears Josh asked the racers that came and were still in what they wanted to do. They all agreed on what they, the ones that actually showed up and had stake in it, wanted to do. And I bet they will show up for the next one.

Come on guys!
This s#!t aint rocket science.
Props to Josh, Bob, Rick, and all those involved in putting this race on.
In my opinion, you all made the PERFECT descision for that particular race! EVERYONE left in competition went home HAPPY. What else could you ask for. The outcome the next time may be totally different, depending on those left in competition???
And Tony, I totally get what you are saying, but this is all new to those involved as well. As long as the car count grows, so will everything else. At least I hope, lol.
Tony, pm me bud.
Congrats Guppy! Bad azz streak ur on!!!!
I hope noone takes this as a bashing personally.

Congrats to the racers that showed up. Congrats to the racers that made it down the track,. The quick 32 guys were impressed on the track prep, Jason laid down the sticky V. Bob, Josh and I were in the lanes, with the semi-finalists, when the rain came down, and then came down hard. We really brain-stormed on making the "fair" decision to the racers that were left. There is huge pressure on an event promoter, especially the inaugural. When weather comes in play, hard decisions MUST come into effect. We realized that the decision will become precedence, and the correct decision was made. Thanks to all of the teams that travelled to this event. I was blown away by the raw numbers of contestants. Good luck over the winter, if in fact you guys have a winter. . See you in Valdosta.

Tony and Daurity are right. Kind of surprised May went along with this. But if the three involved are happy than thats the bottom line. But I would not expect anyone else to agree with the way this split went down at future races. If Sailor wanted some of the Bird he was only about 80 feet from his cage on friday and never came over to say HI
