the event was great. the rain ruined it for us but....
I dont want to be a spoiler but i have to say, i think your "decision" as to the winner and runner up , i cant agree with.
I was out first round ( thanks Bill May lol) But as a future competitior in this i just want to voice my opinion. THIS is Heads up racing, Not bracket racing. We are racing on SMALL tires, and yes i would have bet on Gup winning...BUT clinton was picking up with his adjustments every pass...he was closing in fast . All im saying is if the race was run, there is no guarantee that Gup would have won..( dont be mad at me gup ) I would think in the future if you cant finish the race and your down to three competitive cars like you had...a three way split is what i would think should be done. As far as the product, Bob could have given each of them equal credit towards his products. Please dont take this the wrong way, i just dont want to see us "racing on paper or racing timeslips" if this happens again.
Now that i got that off my chest.

like i said, i was not involved, just my opinion and what i would have wanted if i were still in there, I dont see how these guys can say who would have won, Only other compalint i have is the track was too damn sticky.... IF i knew how to post the screen shot i would show you the tire shake in my first pass, and even with less travel and a tightening of the front shocks i still had a good amount on the sec pass... Too bad i missed the sec qualifier because one more shock adj up front and....But thats a could woulda shoulda thing....I get Bill next time thats all  thanks again Josh and Bob

Wow ! Tony . If I recall u were not even in . So what is ur point . Ur buddy cliton said he was happy being second and not just getting his gate money back . Things change when u get home and get back onto a keyboard . I thought it was a fair decision and the racers involved agreed on it . U really suprise me Tony

I'm sure your happy. You got the winner money and a free front end and evidently only had to qualify and win one round instead of winning 2 more rounds. This is racing and anything can happen. I personally would have said split it evenly between the racers left. I probtably would have forgotten my crystal ball too see the winner. Bad decision from everyone involved in my opinion.
One day I will have something cool here.

but you didnt even show up at the race, and the 3 racers who were "involved" all agreed that thats what they found fair.
And for those who dont know, I took the fasted qualifier, and the fastest elimination pass from each car and averaged the numbers to decide.

You know why my car wasn't there. Its for sale and i have a new one started. I told bill on the phone it was a bunch of b s. No matter who says what its still b.s. get paid for winning a race and only run one round. That decision speaks for itself and with decisions like that made i will not be attending any future races.

Come on Gup you really think that i am typing this against YOU personally?? No Way. I just think it should have been split, thats all. They let you guys agree to what you did. Dont take it personal at all. I think you need to re read my first post....All im looking at is will this happen again in the future? Then a guy will think he is entitles to WIN because he went faster than someone else. Not taking anything away from you...do you understand that this is setting a precedent now that others will look back to if this happens again

IF WE WOULD HAVE HAD JUST 1 OF THE 3 DISPUTE THE DECISION, WE WOULD HAVE DONE IT DIFFERENT
THE RACERS ALL GOT EXACTLY WHAT THEY WANTED, I WOULD HAVE PAID THEM ALL 1K CASH IF THATS WHAT THEY WANTED TO MAKE THEM FEEL GOOD ABOUT COMING ALL THAT WAY TO MY RACE.

this post says it all.....you are looking to grow this, you need to tell people up front what will happen in these situations. AND again i understand you let the racers agree
This guy ( HeadsUp ) is already turned off because of this decision. You have to remember you want people to drive hundred of miles, they dont want to hear that the faster time slip won the race in the event of a rainout.
Im just looking ahead for future events
