For the 20 minutes every 10 years that they run, those old turbododges are fearsome indeed.

Congrats on hitting the 9s.

Out of money, fuel and vac time by the time the Halloween classic comes around.

I don't think it was a FWD turbo car. It looked like a FWD converted to RWD and a V8.

IIRC

Congrats Bill...it was great meeting you. I saw one of your runs and was all set to record it but my camcorder ran out of juice right as you pulled into the burnout box.

Next year I'm putting my request in early for green wristbands.

That sucks. I would have loved to see that.

I meant to have someone record one of my runs but with everything going on and all the excitement over how my car was running we just plum forgot.

It was definitely not a FWD. I had him in 3rd rd of pro. And he ran that same 10.17 on the 10.15. Unfortunately for me, I ran 11.350 on my 11.36 dial.

I think it was about 132 also. Yes I was in it the whole way, bad thing was, car ran a 36 the past 4 runs in a row, so I thought I was good to stay in it, even though I couldnt see him until the finish line, and I crossed first by .04. I guess I need more seat time.

Well, what ever he's got however it's set up is working for him.

Unless he's running a T stop.

Then he's just plain cheating.

I had him in the final, Bill. He went 134.93. I caught him pretty fast so I made sure I stayed in it 'just in case' he had a surprise top end charge, which he did, but I was ready. Nice guy, it's actually his dad's ride that he was using for the weekend, I think he likes it.

Bill......Congrats on your new best
Was a PERFECT weekend for racing and going fast. I was going to bring the Charger out but the radiator started seeping so it just wasn't in the cards for me to go this year I guess

Looks like I'll have to work on the Barracuda over the winter so I can make some laps in it and see what it will actually run in the full 1/4 without being on the brakes

There's a LONG list of upgrades to do
1) couple more chassis bars
2) fab my own frame connectors
3) mini tub
4) DANA
5) fix toe pattern
6) RMS upper arms & strut rods

to name a few
