I'm thinking in the 10.77 area at about 133... because you wont be coming out of the hole strong... JMO BUT dont break it... and .............have fun
I think your on to something there. The car left like a dump truck last year, so this time out will probably similar. I hope the 3.23's are a diff saver.
Tonight we didn't get to run yet, but the header is all back together. We took the exhaust off now so it will be ran un corked tomorrow. Stupid thing doesn't sound like a street car anymore though. ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif)

Not too sure what the car weighs yet, I would guess around 3450lbs. with me in it.
If I missed anything let me know.

I'd like to see how you got it that light. Mine weighs 3875 with me (175lbs). Doug

Well, time trials should start soon here.
Some new updates, the air is around 5000ft. I finally got to weigh the car, and it's lighter than I thought. 3130lbs with out me, 3330 with me. The car is all steel, engine is cast iron, and the bumpers are fiberglass now. The heater is gone, as well as power steering, power brakes and sway bar. also, the exhaust is sitting on the trailer.
Sorry for the wrong weight originally, but that was my best guess since the last time I weighed it.

I have a theory on the MPH. This converter is super loose. It is at 6000 right out of the hole. I am clicking into high gear at about 900ft. It's slipping way too much up to because I can't get any rpm up top.
I Had a close call today... The air started getting better. I lost first round, so I was running the buy back round. The car ran a 10.76 on a 10.75 dial. Then a 10.75 on a 10.75. Then a 10.70 on a 10.70. That got me to the final. I pulled into the burn out box, and pressed really hard on the brake pedal. I heard a ping, and the pedal hit the floor. Lost the codder pin and the brake pin popped out.
So, I lost the round, which was a shame because the other guy broke out, but I am glad it happened in the burn out box and not the top end of the track.
So, best time was a 10.70 @ 127mph.AND, it ran a 1.55 60 foot haha. I think that last run would have been a 10.6x but what do you do eh?
I will make more runs tomorrow as long as high gear holds up

You are probably right on the slippage in the conv... just doesnt get much time locked up... nice job... yeah, lucky that pedal quit in the box(but then again you probably wouldnt have been pressing that hard on top end) ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif)
