Spent a while bumping out dings and polishing stainless.
My wife thought that color (or a very similar one) would look good on an early B-body when we were talking about paint the other night.
I told her she was crazy, that it didn't go well with early B-bodys.
Thanks, I now have to eat my words...

Better talk your buddy out of those wheels, they set the car off pretty well.
it's ok to butt heads, just don't do it with a butthead

Would like to see details of your quick release steering wheel. If it is not top secret.
Leon
Looks like a Wilwood kit. I've made them fit stock columns by cutting the center out of a stock wheel and machining the hub into a hex; the stock splines fit the steering shaft, and the hex mounts the Wilwood wheel adapter.
I didn't run the stock shaft. It's a piece of.750" chrome moly tube with a hex welded on one end and a flaming river U-joint on the other. The wheel was drilled and bolted to the adapter. Doug

I saw that. I was answering Leons question about the brand of kit, and offering a suggestion on how to use them with a stock column. I've made them work with stock columns so the turn signals still work, cancel, etc.
Didn't mean to hijack your post - you have a beautiful car; the pics probably don't do the workmanship justice.
Free advice and worth every penny... Factory trained Slinky rewinder.........

No offence taken. That would be slick to have everything work. Doug

I am thrilled with my new kitchen, but more important... Impressed that Doug actually stopped working on the new race car long enough to redo the kitchen:) I'll have him post before and after of the kitchen then you'll understand:) Debby, the wife of Doug
Any chance the appliances are the same color as the Belvedere

No chance. The old ones were the same vintage as the car though. She traded in Harvest Gold for White. Doug
