My wife has put up with a crummy kitchen for ever. How long? The appliances were harvest gold. So we've been remodeling our kitchen all the way down to the studs. With that nearly done it's back to the car. Its rubbed, body panels aligned, suspension installed. I'll let the pictures tell the story. Doug

I must say... That is a really clean setup you have there. The cage fits tight to the lines in the car. Looks like no surface has been left untouched. Not sure about the Bondobob bit though.
Would like to see details of your quick release steering wheel. If it is not top secret.

This is the first cage I have ever built. I made templates and a buddy bent the main parts, I bent the smaller bends and fitted all the tubes. The wheel uses the original hub that is pot metal. The release hub is a unknown swap meet special. Steering wheel was drilled to the hubs bolt pattern. I fabbed a 1/8" aluminum disc that was welded to the hub. The factory pot metal hub was gutted and epoxied to the aluminum disc. It serves no function except to look factory. The button protrudes thru a hole where the old 3 on the tree stick was attached.
