And the reason you have not called & talked to me, or left a message or about this is????

This is the first I've heard about these issues... someone emailed me a link to this post since I don't get on here much anymore, very busy with work & other things.

The Lifters are brand new .903" .210 offset SB Chevy Crane Ultra Pro's or GS Products, which depending on when purchased may be Morels in a GS box, or actual GS lifters.

Block was a used R block with used bushings in it, I would expect them to have some taper. They can certainly be re-bushed if it is felt they are too far gone.

Eric, call me @ the shop 814-308-8058 so we can discuss.... if you don't get ahold of me right away, just leave a message & I'll get back to you.

EDIT: I just walked in the shop & checked my messages & Eric did leave one at 5 PM yesterday. I tried calling him back with no answer, I'm sure we will get together @ some point today.

I've always wondered why when people have had issues with a manufacturer/company that they feel the need to post it on the ineternet first, rather than contacting the company and giving them a chance to correct the problem (if there is one).Last time I checked, we are all human.

because people want an education...nothing wrong with that..
he was looking for experienced opinions and or first hand advice.
he didnt disclose the vendors in this thread..

I see nothing wrong with asking for advice first before he goes to the source and risks putting his foot in his mouth..or makes a mistake in his correspondence and gets boxed into a corner.

I think stand up guys in business are stand up ....regardless...of how long something took.

Its refreshing to see a post like this NOT end up in a huge testosterone erruption.. for a change.

I think alot of people are too quick to jump onto a web forum with their gripes before calling the company they have an issue with. In many cases it can be easily fixed so both parties are happy. At the end of the day, we are all human and we make mistakes at times. It's the steps we make to rectify them that sets a good business out from others. I hope you get it sorted.

I don't have a problem with this either but as always SOME people take it the wrong way.
My Opinion is that he should of contacted Ryan and spoke to him first.
I ve done business with Ryan in the past and will do business with him in the future. Had issues with a product he sold me. Called him an he fixed the issues. Have a set of Indy heads in my garage that was purchase in 05( I think) and is still in the box that Ryan sent them to me in.
If I have issues with the product I will contact him.

I agree. I liked the other comment/observation too so I left it in the quote. Also, we have your back Ryan. (most of us anyways)

Not to but personally I would have called the shop first and then if It couldn't be worked out amicably and professionally then make a post for public opinion and discussion. The post title itself left nothing to guess about: R block and head porter, certainly brings one of the best small block guys to my mind"Ryan J".And for my opinion the best "small block mopar guru".Ryan is and will always be my go-to guy when I have any questions about small blocks.
Glad you guys are getting together

get together to MAYBE correct it

Eric & I talked this AM... he is getting his stuff back from shop & we will deal with any issues there may be... I am always more than willing to make things right to best extent I can with any customer. I guess the lifters are .0007" (7 ten thousandths) tapered where the axle was pressed into the body & they are Morels...

I don't see the big deal, especially in a dry lifter bore, i wouldn't be afraid to use them.

Because it's more fun to come on the internet and start a dogpile BEFORE actually talking to the parties involved ????

I've been called a lot of things in my life , but this is a new one.
Should I be upset ?
My experiences with Ryan have been over the top positive , and he would have gotten the first call for any issues , problems OR questions.
I'll bet green dollars that you are going to be happy with how this works out.
With a small side bet that there will be no pleasing you just as a hedge............nothing personal.
You are in good hands with SDSS.

X2... I'm more than willing to buy them if he doesn't want to use them... Of course, at used price since they're no longer new
