What are you going to do with it? Not everyone has the same needs/wants. What works for one guy in a street only low rpm combo will come apart like a dollar watch at 7000rpm. In my world kits don't work out well.

Street use only, no strip. Will hit the gas once in a while but not for a quarter mile. Just a respectable street motor.
if thats the case a stock 340 is respectable enough...if money is not an issue than i guess stroke away.
money is probably better spent on a good set of heads.

Sorry I can't help to much with that. I would say remember stroker motors add alot of cubic inches so if you don't increase head flow it will add more low end torque but not rpm as well. Also talk to who ever is going to do the machine work about balancing, some kits do not internal balance well. Get their take on what you want to do before you spend money. just my

Call Brian H at IMM if you want a Scat forged crank with I beam rods and Icon pistons...this is a well proven combo and more than you need for the street. A cast crank will hold up beautifully too. Forged or cast this is a well machined and great assembly for the buck.
BPE, sells the same cranks as K1 and now complete assemblies I believe. This will cost a bit more, but the BPE crank is a good piece and again the same thing as a k1. Member DJVCuda is building I believe a 430 based on this setup. There is a thread on it.
These are my two choices and what I am roughly willing to spend when I do this for the street.

The scat cast crank kits are good value for thier money on a street motor.
Shater, you need more specifics and constrants of what you are looking for in the end. That is why you haven't got many responses. And not very detailed responses.
What are you constraints on:
Headers/manifolds intake carb compression idle characteristics/exhaust note vacuum desired HP range
Just off the top of my head.
Here's a 408 stroker with Scat kit, smooth cam, ebrock head, TTI headers that made ~480HP/500TQ: https://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/show...part=1&vc=1
That should be a sweet street motor. I run a nearly identical setup in a 416 with a slightly hotter 274S cam and a cast crank Scat kit from IMM.

I bought mine balanced from Scat. Brian at IMM has had them checked and they were fine. Mine seems fine.

Since the cruising season is almost over, I am going to have my 71 340 rebuilt and after reading some posts on here I've decided to stroke it. It's a 71 motor that's already .40 over. What I'm looking for is the best stroker kits that are available out there. What I mean by best is what the best for your money. thanks.
Add them up - for the parts I got and the condition / quality - the best bang for the buck was BPE - Rod's cranks are cheaper then anyone out there - he combines that with a compstar rod, and his own pistons and for my 4.125" stroker it was hands down the winner, Other places were up to a grand more for what I was getting in the rotating assembly.
I'd contact Rod Bloomer ( BPE on here ) and get a quote. - you will be impressed.

I already mentioned you princess! I am probably going to do an assembly from Rod next. The parts are really nice stuff for a step up over the typical....when I need it.
