Had one set back..My grille was sitting out in the sun drying the last spot filler application before painting and a freak wind gust came up and tossed it off the stool into the garage door and the ground. all of the cracks I repaired broke again... The only good side was that it stayed in mostly one piece and didn't break in 2.

ouch! thats a bummer!!

Yeah I was pretty mad about that. I had about 5 hrs into it at that point. It was well supported on both sides by the stool. It was still with no wind outside, until the dustdevil came through. It knocked my neighbors trash can over too. Ohh well... Heres a front view

When I got the Duster home I noticed some faint remnants of decals on the side windows. After a few beers and a lot staring I made out the Hijacker one, but the Edelbrock Tarantula took awhile. I had just the body of the spider to go off of. I finally found a single original decal on Ebay that was a match. A conversation with the original owner later on confirmed this Thanks to Randy (1WildRT) for getting the Tarantula decals made for me. I got them put on this morning.

This car is really looking great. Sucks about the grill. If that's the only major set back you have you're doing good.

Thank you guys! It really helps the motivation.

After seeing the stickers in place I'm back to thinking about reusing the slots. If I can polish them on the cheap then they're probably staying.

But the downside to the slots is the lack of girth on the tires that are available. 26" is about the biggest you can get, which leaves A LOT of room in the wheel wells....something that I can't stand....

Looks killer Brent. Sorry to here about the grille but at least you can fix it. I'll be out there in July

You going to be in Vegas or Reno? If you're going to be up this way, then you might even get a ride in it. I got one month till my deadline to drive it....

Thanks Bob! I did find one recently, almost new.If you wind up near Reno let me know.
You should plan on going to MATS or Spring Fling next year with the Cuda, cause ours cars would look good side by side. Especially going down the track in Vegas, loser buys....whadya say???

Time for an update. Obviously I'm not going to be driving it soon. Kinda bummed about that but life comes before cars. Last week I got the trans and rear end pumpkin detailed. I didn't rebuild them because they worked fine before the resto and they will get replaced at some point. The color was a little brighter than I wanted but once the paint flew it was staying that color.

Here is the driveline ready to install. It should be detailed as found.

Driveline detail other side. The carb and wires are on for pics, not hooked up. I know the wires are not 100% correct, but they are Mopar stamped and half the price.

I was able to get the driveline installed today. Lots work by yourself but its done! This is a crappy pic. I had the cover on to prevent any scratches and dust. The wind will not stop around here.
