I like to run a 1.75" axle end gap in a Dana 60.
Resulting axle lengths are:
Driver's side 25.34" Passenger's side 23.90"
Assembly width will be 51.23"
Cass,
He wrote 45 5/16 not 45 15/16 just to clarify.
I came up with 25.04 and 23.625, roughly

Your'e right. I misread 45 15/16"
The correct axle lengths for a 45 5/16" housing are:
Driver's side 25.03" Passenger's side 23.59"
Assembly width will be 50.61"
All good Cass.
You're the "go to" man on this stuff!

Eaglesguy1981j if you are going to run the 1.75" end gap and have a mopar car trac lok or power lok then you will have to remove the 2" thrust spacer or the axles will not seat. I didn't see it mentioned but if you are using stock mopar adjustable axle bearing then you must use the correct axle length to work with the 2" thrust spacer...but if you are using green bearings then just use the axle length that Cass posted for a 1.75" gap.
