If you go with the 509 get the 108 LS cam and not the 112. If it were me I would use the solid you have now With Either cam, I would still want the adjustable rockers. So thats a given IMO. Ive tossed pushrods with the stock rockers with the smaller MP 484 cam. 10.8,s are easily doable in a A body with your current cam, 10.5 comp, 4000+ stall, 3.91 or 4.10 gear.

108 is the only choice. It's the adjustable rockers I would want To get away from. That's the point of this whole idea!
I hear you, . But I would still recommend them.

I think you should use the solid cam, i use iron rockers and have only adjusted them once this year. What rockers do you intend to run and what is the rest of your combo. Mick

I dont think your car will go 10's with the .509, carb is too small, converter needs more stall and it's too heavy. I reckon 11.20-30 JMHO Mick

Yes, it will be tough! I didnt know the combo was that heavy. If I added 550# to my 2950# combo, it would slow it down from a 10.47 to 11.10 or so.
My verts not the best, 4200, but with a new 5000 stall, it might hit a 10.98 with that added weight.
