Ron, shoot me a PM with the diameter of the hole in your shroud. I've got a clutch type fan off a C body that will move some serious air. It's a big fan. If it'll fit your shroud you can have it.

That looks great! I used one from an Aerostar on my Summit radiator, but it doesn't look that good..

An '80s Fifth Avenue has the 5-blade fan and clutch that make up the MP viscous clutch fan package. They really work.

My Fifth Avenue with an Eddie headed 360 is still sporting the factory two core radiator and clutch fan. It never makes it over 195* even when sitting in traffic.

I actually went with the electric fan for when I was stuck in traffic as I will just flip the switch and run the electric fan in traffic as I have it on a toggle switch. Thats why I stayed with the flex fan as it does not rob much hp at the track and the electric fan will move air when in traffic. But this new stroker seems to run a good 10 degrees hotter then the old 440 did so thats why I made this shroud to help the air go over the rad and not around it. Today was very hot and I drove it all around. Never went over 200 even sitting in traffic for 5 to 10 minutes without moving. But I may still try a better fan to see if it runs even cooler in traffic. Thanks for all the replies. Ron

Under 200 degrees in traffic sounds great. Maybe you can ditch the electric fan now. I wouldn't even worry about 210 as long as it cools on a roll. Shroud looks like a good fit.

There's no real problem with the flex fans....until....they break and send a blade into your rad and hood. Don't ask how i know!!

I can't see your hood, but do you have the rubber seal on your hood that meets the rad support??? that seal make a big difference, without it all your doing is sucking the hot after rad air back thru the rad...i put that seal in my charger and dropped temps by 10*deg. worth a try?

I had a stock steel fan blade go thru the hood of a 72 Chevy BB truck before too.
