My 69 440 cuda driver's side motor mount is starting to deteriorate. I want to fab a new one, and make is solid, but mine looks like it has stretched. Can anyone tell me the correct thickness? Thanks, Mike

Mike, M-code 'cuda!!! Are you looking for a NOS rubber insulator? I think Michaels motor parts has some? I think $135............Anyways read the bottom of my post. I don't recognize your name off the top of my head, if your car isn't in there, we'd love to add it!! Just added a new FB, owned since '78 with 8334 original miles!!! Let me know, PM me, i'll give you a email address i have just for the registry. Dave
I'm the CARETAKER of Weinstats '69 440 'cuda registry and have 104 of the 360 cars to date. 84 fastbacks/20 coupes. Always looking for new(REAL M-code) '69 440 'cudas to add to the registry so drop me a note if any are found or known. This isn't a publicly released registry. Thanks, Dave

amazingly i'm sitting here at my desk with a new set of Anchor mounts from Rockauto with a tape measure in the drawer! the rubber insolator plus the top metal mount (the part with the attaching bolt is 1 1/4 inches.
Interesting as I just checked rockauto and they only list the right mount for a big block A Body , not the left as the OP asked about.
I won't be able to compare the NOS left I have to anchor right to see if they are the same thickness till tonight.

the OP was talking about the rubber isolator, not the entire mount. the isolator is the same for both sides.

NO, it is not the same for the both sides on a factory big block A body, 383 or 440, which is what the op is asking about.

No repop available? I am going to need one.
Schumacher is working on one , they have a mount that will work but you need to modify the bracket as it only has one bolt to the engine bracket and it might be a tad shorter so it'll need a shim. I have it in my Dart currently , I'm not sure yet if it's the idler arm arm not being correct , it's not , or the mounts, as to why my centerlink is kocked and the idler hits the pan.
I'm going to be pulling it out soon if you want to try it out .

I will find out soon enough then.
Is the trans mount unique as well?
I just looked , looks like the polylocs are the only replacement for stock , the trans mount is not unique though.
What is listed as the ORIGINAL mount is the one I have , it uses 1 bolt to the mount bracket and it's in a different spot , I had a spare bracket I modified instead of buying theirs .

i stand corrected. the refference i was looking at shows no difference between 69 and 70 a or e and then it shows the same for b and e big block. (just goes to show ya how little i know about the 'toy' cars )
