Then you have Jerry Tarvin's motor out of his yellow pickup. Jerry was capable enough to tune it for that but I dont know how much he drove it

I'm in total agreement with hemifred and have been dreaming of switching from my donminator 1050's to either enderle or hilborn's settups and can seem to want to spend the additional money to buy the electronics on top of that $$$$..
So instead I have played with dual 750 double pumpers and also my 1050 dominators..
For the street with the 750's it runs good, but the motor loves the larger 1050's instead.
I talked to the owner of alkydiggers.com and he said that I would gain nothing by switching to the injection and would LOSE my part throttle cruising comfort and reliability as my car is still occasionally street driven.
The electonics for control was more $$$$ than the cost of the hat, rail, valves and pump together

For the original subject matter..,I am running 4.56 pro gears and a chromed housing dana 60. 4200 stall,540 cu in motor with 8-71 BDS and 33x21.50 x15 mickey's and have run it with 5.13's and was turning 7200 and ONLY AT The 1000ft mark !!! (1/4 mile tracks here).
With the 4.56's we are shifting and at the top end at 6400 rpms now.
If you want to [Edited by Moparts - Family Friendly Site - Keep it clean] the front tires off the ground you can still do it with the 3.90's....But I would switch to a dana 60 for a long life please! ( i learned that the hard way..)
