When I 1st tried the 750DP(4779) they were not that great. I took out the power valves(they will not work on a tunnel-ram with PV) milled the choke off and sq jetted them @ 80 in the spring&fall and 78 in the summer months and they were awesome. Maybe this will help some get close to their set-up.

Its a given, TRs are a better route, Better throttle responce, more torque & HP, better 60fts., better top end, low maintenance once dialed in, better street manners. Its a win-win, you just need to pick the "right" style intake & carbs, if not, you'll be un-happy, thats where some feel there no good , but "they are" period!!!

I like them, but I skipped the carb issues all togather...Many mythes abound with TR's, but they are as stated, more HP, more torque, more top end, and a little more finiky, but once set-up, killer...

so far it seems the indy tunnel rams are too big for a 496 street drivin motor, is there a TR setup that would work on a sr headed roller cammed street strip motor?i would really like to do the 2-4 TR on mine.
I'm sure the Weiand Street ram will work great with the right carbs, even on a 496, they are very cheap & can be found used pretty easy, They work great on the street.

You can weld the flanges up on the standard tunnelram intakes to use them on M.W. port heads
yes, ive seen that done before but it doesnt look like a job for the faint of heart,i really dont know anyone in my area i would trust with that job.
