I just bought a set of Afco Double adjustables for my car. They were $263 from Jegs with "Racer" discount. Hear alot of good thinks about Afco's shocks.
Eric also is a dealer and he may be able to beat that price.

But which is the best bang for the buck? Not the "best" necessarily. Also, do I need double adjustable?
Whats your rear suspension... with my 4-link I run a set of old 12 way QA-1s single... I get a 1.19 60'... I have a set of Strange singles on the rear of my Rampage with ladder bars(street/drag car)

James, IMO buy the best shock you can afford. Double adjustable Strange or AFCO are best bang for the buck.

I have CE 3 ways on the front of my street/strip Dart and Rancho 9 ways on the back. They work well for what I have, it's gone 1.38 60' @ 3260# on a ET Street Radial with a pump gas 408 and 4.10 gears. That being said, if I were buying shocks, most likely I'd buy Strange doubles. Apparently AFCO has a good handle on their drag shocks and not so much on their roundy shock for dirt cars.
