I lucked into a 2nd hand repop for under a grand. Putting it on an A12? Yes. Care that it's a repop? No.

In addition to the prices above you need a seal too. I think that's about $75.

I've seen non-original looking filter elements for about $30. K&N makes a version too, that's cheaper than the Frams.

Last time I checked, the Fram filters were on national back order for those who don't know... may have changed.

I make a 6bbl version and a 4bbl version of the A12. $150 is slightly less than $1500. Big difference in that last zero... small difference in what you see when the part is shrouded in black paint, a seal, filter and lid.
