Jim, I saw nothing about letting the vendor's in on thursday like some of the other races,,so I would say no, but you can park along the entry road up to the ticket booth if you happen to roll in early.
Light travels faster than the speed of sound,,,this is why some people seem bright untill you hear them speak.

You should have no problem getting in on Thursday and staying the whole weekend. We have gotten in on thursday night before. As long as you are there before the gates close.
We are coming out from ohio on thursday evening ourselves

Thank you and everyone for their support. The Curt race is very special to our family and that many of you support this event only goes to strengthen the legesy and philosophy that Curt left with us."racers helping racers".Many of you who knew Curt can relate to his generosity and respect he projected towards not only racers but to people in general. That this event is run under the CC/Mopower Event banner should not deterr anyone from attending and having a great time. The Blankenship family have been very respectfull in honoring Curts memory and respectfull of the BGR family and all the racers that attend. As with our customers, who become our friends and then become our family, the Blankenships are no diffrent. We started a business relationship, became friends and now include them as part of our extended family. This relationship is based on mutual respect and we see it continuing in the future. We know there has been issues with Charlie and others but this is his private issues and is not our concern or any of our business and should not reflect on the Curt Memorial Race or BGR.We should respect and support any events or venues that give us a oppertunity to get together and enjoy our sport/hobby.If we lose any of the events it's our loss as well as those who promote them.No one is going to be happy with everyone, but we can try and get along and enjoy ourselves, life is too short for all the other bullshitz, get along or move along. BGR is welcoming everyone to join us at PRP and experience some of the best Southwestern Pa. hospitality and want to thank all of you and the Blankenship family for joining us in respecting Curt's memory and carrying on his legesy. Respectfully,Bob

Just so everyone knows our weather down here in pittsburgh is really scattered...we have had scattered thunderstorm predictions the last few weeks in a row and it never rained either time, even this saturday at a 50% chance of thunderstorms it did not him, sunny days, and if it does rain its most likely going to be a quick cloud rolling through its been so hit or miss around here...dont rule yourselves out on the weather... PLUS REMEMBER! PRP HAS A JET DRYER!!! SEE YOU THERE!

Does anyone know if they are allowing parking in the pits on Thursday night?
It is a long tow from southern Maryland, especially trying to get past D.C. during morning rush hour on Friday (hours delay).
So my group would like to tow up on Thursday evening.
There is a test&tune Thursday night so I would guess you could park that night but call the track to make sure. He is a link to the schedule. http://www.pittsburghracewaypark.com/schedule
This is what I was told from MoPower. The MoPower event admission opens at 8am on Friday. But since the track is having the test and tune, we can pay that to enter on Thursday as long as the gates are still open to enter (time unknown).
This group of racers plan to leave as soon as everyone can get out of work on Thursday (after lunch). That could be 1pm or 5pm depending on work load. Add about 6 hrs towing plus driving home from work and getting the race cars, etc. So it could be 8pm or after midnight.
