That. Minor scraping wont hurt you & if you have the right puller pull it back a hair
minor...thats what you say when you are broke down cause the impeler eat away at the pump then eat away at the t-cover to dump coolent into the oil pan
last one cost me a new fan/clutch/rad..all it had was a slight wobble i could feel by hand with the belt off.
last t-cover I did on an inboard with a bad wp, had a groove cut so bad it leaked into the oil case,but it was from a large 8" piece of lower rad hose spring wraped around the impeller
