First off, follow the article's recommendation for spindles and ignore all the other "these'll work" comments. Its a known fact that anything but the recommended spindles negatively affect the bumpsteer (dispite all the controversy this comment will generate AGAIN !!!).

Second, go with the 10.87" setup. Its way more common and the added stopping power of the 11.75" is negligible, not to mention they weigh more.

Pin or slider?? Slider is definately more common and will work fine.

Dr. Diff (a regular on here) sells the hoses to rear-mount the calipers.

Buy used spindles and caliper brackets and buy everything else new. Everything you need is cheap enough that its not worth cleaning and rebuilding used stuff.

You make it sound like these spindles are growing on trees
