had too many problems with Champion.

Such as??? Ive never had a problem with them, and I have run them in everything from stock street cars to 8,000rpm race cars.

Uneven gaps from the factory (shoddy QA), easier to foul than other brands in the same situations, and I've had exactly 2 brands of plugs where the porcelain has been broken around the center electrode, sliding down when the plug was held spark end down, sliding back up to normal with wire end down. I've seen 6 plugs brand new broken this way, 2 tune-up masters (made in Eastern Europe) and 4 Champions (at 3 different times). You can say it was due to rough handling or packaging, but I have not seen it on any other plugs. The porcelain also tends break easier when removing.
