It's possible the crank is not drilled deep enough , what pilot bearing are you using ? You may need to trim a little off the end of the input shaft .




I had to do jut that with mine. The machine shop was scared that they would go to deep and I ended up having to trim about 1/8" off for it to set in and have a little play.
