I have not been able to verify, if the QF metering blocks still have the idle feed tube in the main metering well, like the oem 8896 does. This is a major cause of high speed lean out, when jetting down the intermediate circuit, as the restriction effects how big a main jet is effective. I would start over with a 2 circuit, or google the topic, and make up your own mind. BLP (Bo Laws) makes a billet block that supposedly picks up idle circuit fuel differently, but I haven't called them to verify.

The QF dominator blocks do have the idle tube in the main well. They have increased the size of the well but the idle tube restricts it quite a bit. This I think is why their boosters are drilled with 17 holes and they use alcohol sizing on cross channels, stake tubes and banjos.

BLP does make a wide 3 circuit block that isolates the idle circuit. I have been thinking of doing a carb with these blocks to see if the 3 circuit will be faster. I normally convert the carbs to a 2 circuit blocks and they are working well.
