Last months issue of Racecar Engineering had an in depth article on aero devices at relatively low speeds, with the hill climbing crowd in mind. They reported measuring downforce beginning at 30-40mph, and of course its quantitative effect is very speed dependent. I was suprised.

Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.
