Hi, i want decode a tag for a charger 70 but the numbers doesn't match with the decoders ,i was visited some pages but all give me the same information and want to know where have i the error, some numbers match and some not, like a year number, they mark 1971 but in the 71 all chargers are W like coronets and this one is X....well the first line are

You will have a hard time using a 70 decoder as the tag is from a 68 Charger. I hope 1) your car is a 68 and there is a typo in your subject line or 2) you know how a 68 tag wound up on a 70.

G1 should be a number. It's probably 61.
SERIAL NUMBER is actually the Sales Order Number, not the VIN.
CGX is actually C6X = black bucket seat interior.
