I have one of those on my 68 Charger. Been there for 15+ years..

A really great carb, jetted a little fat for stock motors. Great performance.

Before you swap carbs, intstall a thick carb gasket. 3/8 works well. Today fuel is crap, works with fuel Injection but not real carb friendly.

I also have an electric pump in back to help with fuel boiling.
The factory vapor seperator will allow a small amount of hot fuel to return to the tank..that should help a bit as well.
