Bob Tarrozzi worked on the Trans Am program, some work for Keith Black on the aluminum Hemi block IIRC, and the Shadow program.
He's done some stuff for Brad Anderson and some motorcycle stuff too.
To the OP, are you sure you aren't thinking about the Westlaked headed 318 Indy motor. I've got pics of those in drag Colt's. Those ran some serious RPM's!
