When I took my RV back to the manufacturer in Middlebury Ind, near Elkhart, they asked if I ever resealed to the roof. I said no and it wasn't leaking. They said it was standard practice to reseal the seams from time to time. When I got it back there was a fresh coat of something thick and gray on all the roof seams.

That's all I got, the seams do move a little when the trailer is going down the road, so I'm guessing something flexiable.





I think the name of that grey stuff is Siliprene




It's something that self levels and then get's hard. I've only seen it on the roofs of RVs and race car trailers.
