What about a stock dist w non worn bushings (most all I check are OK) and pinning the weights to lock em solid and drilling a vertical hole into the 2 flat plates and locking them solid w a small bolt/nut and use a spacer on the bolt inbetween the 2 plates so the top plate does not tilt when you tighten them.
