If I'm not mistaken, the later 68s were the same as the 69s in regrads to the mounting points. My July 4th Build 68 RR has the 69 latch mount. And it's the original hood. I think the change over was February or so. Not exactly sure. Myabe someone else who knows more (A12) can reply.
