With the top off of the carb, if I manually plunge the accelerator pump, it shoots a couple of decent streams, but once the top is on, I barely get a dribble.
is checkball/return spring in place under the plunger? this is in addition to the spring that's on the shaft of the accel pump plunger. note that one of my bbd's had the extra return spring UNDER the plunger on top of the check ball & one did not. Did you set the height of the plunger shaft underneath the flat cover on top that houses the metering rods. Most are 1/2" or 15/32".
