do you still have to engage it manually?
remember reading about having to push a button, and you could split gears.

A control box and all electrical harnesses come with the GV. It’s, plug and play. You can select to auto engage overdrive (it engages at 45mph and disengages when you stop) or you can select manual and manually engage the overdrive. I installed a foot switch (a head light dimmer switch supplied with the GV) on the floor to manually select overdrive. It works great.

I have heard of this option too...I think my dad is just looking for one more gear for cruising. I don't see him banging gears at the track, but just making it a sweet cruiser on the road, but having the bottom end grunt of 3.91's around town.

For what it is worth, I did get a quote for the keisler auto. It is about $4700 bucks. For that kind of cash, I would definately dig a little deeper and go with the 5 speed.

We are leaning towards the gear vendors. It seems like an awesome (and relatively easy) setup!
